There is no single best weed killer for farming, but a crop-by-crop map shows where to start. Transplanted paddy: JU PRETILA-EW (Pretilachlor 37% EW) is a pre-emergent selective herbicide at 600 to 750 ml per acre. Maize: JU ATRAZINE (Atrazine 50% WP) is used for pre-emergence and early post-emergence control, and JU LOUD (Tembotrione 34.4% SC) is a post-emergence option at 115 ml per acre. Sugarcane: JU ATRAZINE also lists sugarcane. Onion and potato: JU OXY-PLUS (Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC) lists both, with crop-specific doses, though it has shown as sold out. Bunds, channels and non-crop areas: JU Glypho-41 and JU Glypho-71 are non-selective glyphosate products. Treat this as a starting list, not a recommendation for your field. Check that your crop, weeds and growth stage match the label, and compare cost per acre. Rotate modes of action across seasons to slow resistance. Wear protective clothing when you spray. Gramiti – A Trusted Place for Farmers lists all of these with their label details. Ghaziabad 201001, 9939979905, customercare@gramiti.com.
