This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which payments made on AdriaCircle are refundable.


1. General Principle

All payments made on AdriaCircle are considered final, unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy or required by applicable law.

Refunds may be granted only in specific situations outlined below.


2. Membership / Subscription Fees

If AdriaCircle offers paid memberships or subscriptions:

  • Payments are billed in advance (monthly / yearly).

  • No refunds are provided for:

    • partially used subscription periods,

    • unused time,

    • failure to use the platform.

Exception:

Refund may be granted if:

  • there is a technical issue caused by the platform that prevents access for a prolonged period,

  • or a billing error occurred (e.g., duplicate charge).


3. Event Tickets

For networking events, conferences, or meetups:

  • Tickets are non-refundable by default.

  • Refund may be granted only if:

    • the event is cancelled by AdriaCircle, or

    • the event is significantly changed (date, location, format).

  • transfer of ticket to another person,

  • credit for future events instead of refund.


4. Digital Products / Services

If AdriaCircle offers digital content (courses, investor materials, premium listings, etc.):

  • All purchases are non-refundable once accessed or delivered.

Refund may be considered only if:

  • the product was not delivered, or

  • the content is materially different from what was advertised.


5. Payments Between Users

AdriaCircle may enable connections between users (e.g., investors, developers, service providers), but:

  • We are not a party to any agreements between users.

  • We do not guarantee transactions between users.

  • Payments made directly between users are non-refundable by AdriaCircle.


6. Fraud, Abuse, and Violations

We reserve the right to:

  • deny refund requests in cases of:

    • abuse of the system,

    • repeated refund claims,

    • violation of Terms of Use,

    • fraudulent activity.

Accounts involved in abuse may be suspended without refund.


7. EU Consumer Rights (Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer in the EU:

  • You may have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.

However, this right does not apply if:

  • the service has already been fully delivered, or

  • digital content has been accessed with your consent, or

  • you agreed to immediate performance and waived the right to withdrawal.
